Ille De France/Dorset Breeding Rams

This year we have two commercial Ille De France/Dorset Rams. Our flock is enrolled in the Ontario Sheep Farmers Maedi Visna Program. Breeding from our Maternal flock of ewes sired by a Dorset Circle R ram who was from imported Australian genetics and sired by our Ille De France ram from Sheep Wrangler Farms ram purchased at last year’s Heartland Ram and Ewe Sale.

Such an excellent pair of ram lambs that we are excited to be able to share this year. These rams are both twins. They have been carefully selected from the flock. We select carefully for these rams. They have to be from an extremely maternal ewe with high health and longevity. They mothers are good milkers with good udders. They lambed unassisted and had strong vigor. They are from a Maedi Visna enrolled flock and have had both doses of Glanvac 6 vaccine.
